People want to understand how decisions are made, how resources are used, and how their voices matter. When communities feel heard, solutions become possible.
I consistently step forward when my community needs steady, capable leadership. Across business, volunteer service, and elected office, I take on complex challenges while following through with care and respect for institutional processes. I will bring that same commitment to Lincoln County.
I put my name forward in this moment because I know our systems will be stabilized through respectful collaboration.
I’m running to represent all of Lincoln County: our coastal towns, rural communities, community organizations, working families, retirees, visitors, first responders, and young people seeking opportunity. We all deserve stability and accountability.
You have the opportunity to choose leadership rooted here, tested here, and committed to serving the whole community.
Not Left. Not Right. Not out of indecision, but out of conviction.
I am not suggesting all elected officials and voters should avoid political affiliation, and have respect for those who feel well represented by a political party. That’s just not me.
For me, being non-affiliated isn't about neutrality. It means I value leadership that understands everyone brings inherent value and valid perspectives to our local decision making. It reflects my willingness to be equally accountable to all, and is in alignment with my belief everyone deserves representation.
Non-affiliated representatives bring something essential to representative government:
That’s the role I’m committed to serving.
I am grateful for the broad support I experience which enables me to approach the work of local government with meaningful insights from across the political spectrum. It is a privilege to represent you.

Government exists to serve the people, not the other way around. I am dedicated to seeing us climb the “Ladder of Citizen Participation” and do not support the recent changes in the opposite direction.
This means I prioritize public engagement and locally informed solutions that are in alignment with community needs and vision. It means, though I will bring ideas to the table, I am committed to continuing to always follow the lead of the community.
Our freedom to speak, question, and disagree in public is sacred, as is the right to petition our governments. I will always stand up for that right, even when I don’t agree or if it is my own position being challenged.
I take the oath I have sworn seriously. You can trust I will uphold the duty of an elected official to speak up, question or disagree on your behalf if ever I feel something is not meeting our shared standards or expectations of government.
Civility is a non-negotiable keystone of our democracy. Respect for one another and healthy discourse are essential to accomplish the complex work of local governance.
We find the best solutions when we explore our disagreements rather than dismiss them, or worse, dehumanize each other. It is always a choice to foster civility by engaging with respect and kindness.
I believe leadership means being able to talk with everyone, especially those with differing perspectives, while always listening for common ground.
COLLABORATIVE.
In a small county, we know each other. We may disagree loudly at times, but we still show up at the same grocery stores and community events.
My commitments include:
Fellow Elected Officials
The board of commissioners must be able to collaborate with each other during their open meetings, build communication channels with other elected officials across the county and state. Respect for each other IS respect to the voters.
County Employees & Direct Reports
Without these dedicated public servants, we wouldn’t have county services. As a local employer, it is of the utmost importance to me to curate an environment people want to be a part of. Organizational culture starts at the top, with leadership demonstrating shared values & respect.
The People
It is the people who make up our community that carry the local wisdom that is crucial to informing meaningful local solutions. I am committed to engaging early, seeking critical feedback, and actively listening in order to hear and represent as many voices as possible.
PRINCIPLED.
Public service requires understanding processes, respect for procedures, and careful consideration of precedents. It means showing up prepared, reading reports and asking careful questions to ensure decisions are clear and on the record.
My decision-making framework prioritizes three foundational commitments:
Public Confidence – Public engagement is indispensable to representative government. I am committed to open dialogue with all members of our community. Part of the work in representing you is ensuring you are informed on upcoming decisions, how you can engage, and serve as a bridge between people and bureaucracy.
Responsible Stewardship – Planning ahead, aligning spending with community capacity, maintaining strong internal controls, and ensuring transparent and accountable use of taxpayer dollars.
Community Resilience – Strengthening public safety, emergency preparedness, local economic vitality, and regional collaboration.
LOCAL.
Growing up here, in a first-responder home, I learned early that public service requires preparation, accountability, and responsibility.
I always show up in times of crisis.
As a local business owner and public servant, I have built teams, balanced budgets, showed up through every emergency, navigated crisis response, and worked across varied perspectives. I have consistently demonstrated preparedness, transparency, and the willingness to listen across differences.
I’m running to bring that same practical leadership to county government.
