COMMUNITY ENDORSEMENTS

Marci intrigues me. Our community has been divided, and that harms our future. Marci listens to everyone, looks for solutions, and finds creative ways to fix what isn’t working. She doesn’t push a narrow agenda—she brings knowledgeable, research‑based solutions that unite us. I strongly support Marci because she will lead with integrity, collaboration, and results.

Marci has a natural ability to create spaces where everyone feels welcome. She brings people together in a genuine way—without labels or expectations—simply by fostering connection. You can see this clearly through her work in the community, especially how she has created opportunities for people to gather, share meals, play games, and build meaningful relationships in the community. If you’re looking for someone who truly sees, hears, and values others, I wholeheartedly recommend Marci.

I’ve known Marci for many years—first as a friend, then as a business owner, and now as a dedicated Lincoln City Councilor. Throughout each of these roles, one thing has remained consistent: her commitment to people.

What stands out most is her approach to leadership. She brings people together, asks thoughtful questions, listens with intention, and takes the time to research and find well-informed, practical solutions. She doesn’t just talk about change—she actively works toward it.

Her volunteer efforts during the Echo Mountain fires, throughout Covid, and within local outreach programs speak volumes. Marci doesn’t hesitate to step in where help is needed, and I know firsthand that she has made a real difference in the lives of many throughout our county.

In a time when division feels overwhelming, we need leaders who prioritize unity, transparency, accountability, and true community engagement. Marci embodies all of these qualities in both her actions and her leadership.

There is no one more committed to representing the people of Lincoln County with integrity and heart than Marci Baker.

Angie McMillen

Marci is welcoming to all people. She has a gift of creating community without targeting one type of personality or perspectives. You can see it with her food evolution, adjusting to the changes in town with a direct goal of gathering strangers to eat, play games, have conversations and increase community. If you want to be seen, heard, and valued- my recommendation is to vote for Marci.

Angie Wright

I have known Marci for many years now. First as friends, then as a business owner, and most recently as an elected Lincoln City Councilor.

An impressive attribute about Marci is her ability to bring people together, ask questions, listen to answers or concerns, do the research and find informed solutions to problems.

Her volunteer work during the Echo Mountain fires, Covid, and at local outreach programs is a testament to her willingness to jump in and do the work. I know she has personally helped many people in our county.

At a time when there is so much divisiveness, dysfunction and a lack of community inclusion from our County Commissioners office, we need an experienced unifier like Marci, who practices community outreach, transparency, accountability, teamwork, and public engagement in everything she does.

You will not find a more representative leader, for all of Lincoln County, than Marci Baker!

For transparency I need the reader to know that I am not an objective individual regarding my support for Marci Baker, I am in fact her Father. That being said, she has my full support and endorsement for Lincoln County Commissioner Position 2.

Being her father I could tell you many stories about Marci that would demonstrate why she has my support, but her record of engaging in her community speaks for itself. She gives of herself without thought of self gain or recognition to help our community. What she has written about her values and how she approaches difficult decisions are facts, not positive affirmations.

If you want a government representative that will actually listen to you regardless of your political view point and turn that to finding the best outcomes, Marci is your candidate!

In today’s polarized political environment finding someone who is willing to honestly and intelligently engage in politics is rare, but it is what we need, it’s the way the system was designed to work! It is not the easy way, it is not the politically safe way, but it’s the best way. Marci educates herself on the subject, engaging those with various and opposing views, and then she makes a decision that represents what she believes is best for the community.

So do you want a representative who is willing to engage with you and actually listen to your concerns and opinions?

A representative who educates herself on subjects at hand, and makes decisions based upon good governance that represents her constituents?

Then Vote and Support Marci Baker for Lincoln County Commissioner Position #2.

Dad story: When Marci was 3-years old she was playing with her 5-year old brother and he got sick and vomited on himself and the carpet. I took him to the bathroom and cleaned him up, changed his clothes, then went back to clean the carpet. I could not find the mess. I asked Marci where did your brother get sick? She simply said “I cleaned it up Daddy.” At three years old she was dealing with messes that others do their best to avoid, without being asked, without hope of reward, only because it needed to be done.
